WNMG-GR is an 80° hexagonal turning insert equipped with GR chipbreaker, specially engineered for rough machining operations. The GR chipbreaker geometry enables stable chip control and efficient chip evacuation during heavy stock removal.
With CVD coating, it delivers excellent wear resistance and high cutting speed performance for carbon steel, alloy steel and cast iron. The 80° hexagonal shape provides multiple cutting edges, lowering cost per cut. It is widely applied in turning on lathes and CNC turning centers.
