SNMM-GZ is a single-sided square negative-rake turning insert with 4 cutting edges. Optimized with GZ chipbreaker for gravity machining. The high-toughness substrate and wear-resistant CVD coating provide reliable chip breaking and superior impact resistance under heavy cuts.

As the top-recommended chipbreaker for semi-finishing Group P materials, the SNMG-GM insert uses a special edge design to balance sharpness and strength. The curved rake face with variable edge width and rake angle delivers smooth chip flow and good chip control.

SNMG‑GR 90° rhombic turning insert is a heavy‑duty roughing insert. Thanks to its high edge strength and reliable chip‑breaking performance, it is suitable for rough turning of carbon steel and alloy steel under continuous or interrupted cutting conditions in lathe operations.
